Who is responsible

Hosting

This site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. in the United States. When you open a page, your browser sends technical data that Netlify needs to deliver it, and Netlify records it in server and access logs: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's user agent.

Purpose: delivering the site and keeping it secure and available. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Netlify processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Transfers to the US rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Register interest form

If you send the form, we receive your name, email address, topic and message. The form is handled by Netlify Forms; Netlify stores the submission on its servers in the US, under the agreement and safeguards named under Hosting.

To keep out spam, the form contains a hidden field that only bots fill in, and Netlify checks submissions with the Akismet spam filter, operated by Automattic Inc. in the USA, which receives your name, email address and message for that check. This data is transferred to the United States. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the form free of spam (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Netlify sends a notification with your submission to hello@nvvy.dev. That address is forwarded by our domain provider Porkbun to a Gmail inbox, so the message is also processed by Google.

We use the data only to answer you and, as the form says, to tell you first if the practice opens. Legal basis: steps you asked for before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); where no contract is in view, our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Submissions are kept for 12 months and then deleted. Sending the form is voluntary; without it you can still write to us by email.

Email

If you write to hello@nvvy.dev, your message and address pass through the same Porkbun forwarding to the Gmail inbox. We use them only to answer you, on the same legal bases as the form, and delete them once the conversation no longer needs them.

When we reply to your enquiry by email, whether it came through the form or by email, the reply is sent through Resend (Resend, Inc., USA), our email delivery provider. Resend processes your email address and the content of the reply to deliver it, on our behalf and on the same legal bases as answering your enquiry. This data is transferred to the United States; the transfer relies on the safeguards in Resend's data processing terms.

Google Analytics, only with your consent

We use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site is used. A banner asks for your consent first.

Your consent choice

Your answer to the banner is saved in your browser's local storage, so the site does not ask again on every page. It stays on your device and is not sent to us or to anyone else.

You can change it via “Cookie settings” in the footer, or delete it with your browser's site data.

Fonts and everything else

All fonts are served from this site itself; no font service is contacted. Beyond what is described above, there is no other tracking: no advertising, no social media plugins, no further cookies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the data we hold about you,
• have it rectified or erased,
• restrict its processing,
• receive it in a portable format,
• object to processing based on our legitimate interest,
• withdraw a consent at any time, with effect for the future.
